The Customs Compliance Coordinator will work with Customs Regulatory Compliance Analysts to develop client-specific procedures, especially for onboarding new clients. This role is responsible for compliance activities including classification of merchandise for HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN research. The coordinator will also assist with post-entry functions such as applying for tariff concessions, refunds, duty drawbacks, and credits, as well as resolving issues with customs and other government agencies. Excellent client service skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly gain extensive knowledge and communicate complex CBP requirements to importers for a clear understanding of import, CBP, and other regulatory requirements. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions based on established processes and regulatory interpretations. Other duties may be assigned.
