Customer Transformation Specialist

AugerDallas, TX
Onsite

About The Position

Customer Transformation is the team responsible for delivering value from Auger’s autonomous supply chain operating system. This role involves learning the process from the ground up, joining a deployment pod, taking a workstream, and owning it end to end, including the plan, meetings, follow-through, and achieving specific metrics. The work is demanding, fast-paced, and involves significant travel, requiring the specialist to be on-site with customers in their operations. Responsibilities include managing schedules that cross-functional teams depend on, resolving issues that others avoid, and writing precise requirements for engineers. These roles are designed to develop future leaders by providing hands-on experience within customer operations, with the potential to lead accounts within two years.

Requirements

  • Two to five years in an environment that demanded more than it gave (e.g., service academy, military assignment, top-tier consulting or banking analyst program, startup, or operating role with significant responsibility).
  • Evidence of grit under load; experience managing a project that was behind, unclear, and ultimately brought to completion.
  • Strong analytical horsepower; ability to break down unfamiliar operational problems, quantify them, and defend logic.
  • Speed and ability to learn new domains quickly (weeks, not quarters) and deliver good answers promptly.
  • Written precision; ability to write short, specific, and complete updates without requiring clarifying questions.
  • Hunger for advancement and willingness to earn it through detailed work on real accounts with customers.
  • Comfort with directness and immediate, specific feedback in both directions.
  • Drive.

Nice To Haves

  • Supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and defending the schedule for your workstream, including milestones, dependencies, and accountability for deliverables and consequences of missed deadlines.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving numerous small, unresolved questions within deployments before they become critical issues, driving each to a decision with a named owner.
  • Translating customer business stories into precise requirements for Supply Chain Scientists, Customer Engineering Leads, and Customer Product Leads, ensuring clarity for building without follow-up meetings.
  • Tracking and maintaining current input measures for the account value model from your workstream, such as forecast accuracy, service level, exception volume, and adoption rate, and flagging any movement.
  • Writing clear and concise updates for cross-functional teams and customer executives, detailing shipped items, changes, risks, and next steps, and owning the written record of decisions, owners, dates, and risks.
