About The Position

The Customer Training Program Administrator is responsible for capturing customer needs, customizing training program approval documents to meet National Aviation Authority requirements, auditing FlightSafety instructor training and qualification records, and maintaining methods and procedures for monitoring training program currency for certificate holders.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school and two (2) years related experience, or Five (5) years related experience, or Equivalent combination of education and experience, in a related field.
  • Experience with FAA Air Carrier Certificate Holder training records, operations, and training requirements.
  • Knowledge of aviation industry terminology.
  • Fluency in English; able to speak, understand, read and write.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of FAA Air Carrier Certificate Holder Instructor and Check Pilot records procedures.
  • Knowledge of contract training program requirements and procedures.
  • Able to work unsupervised, as needed.
  • Ability to modify behavior to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or work environment.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a FlightSafety International related regulatory role, preferred.
  • Four years’ experience with technical writing, desktop publishing, content management related to aviation training program documentation, preferred.
  • Type/keyboard (computer user with minimum typing/keyboarding skills), preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Determine Customer training requirements and develop customized training programs.
  • In consultation with Sales, review and revise customer training programs.
  • Validate customer manuals for accuracy in accordance with established policy.
  • Communicate with FAA Air Carrier Certificate Holders to maintain current Aircraft Specific Training Manuals (ASTM).
  • Assist in the development and creation of standardized ASTM templates and processes/procedures that support a controlled customer document audit cycle.
  • Answer questions about custom training programs from customers or employees.
  • Provide customers with training program template changes as applicable.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks and projects as directed by the Manager, Regulatory Affairs.
  • Audit, maintain compliance of, and resolve discrepancies with FlightSafety instructor training and qualification records supporting FAA Air Carrier Contract Training.
  • Represent Regulatory Affairs as a stakeholder for training center and operations records projects.
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for training centers and customers regarding FAA Air Carrier Certificate Holder Instructor and Check Pilot Records.
  • Coordinate with Operations Support for review and revision of electronic Logbook training records.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of training for customers and FlightSafety employees.
