About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to support a local law office during a maternity leave. This temporary role will serve as the first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, scheduling, and intake while providing a compassionate and professional experience to individuals seeking legal assistance. This position is ideal for someone comfortable handling sensitive situations and who can communicate with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service, administrative, or office support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle emotionally sensitive client situations with empathy and patience
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, small-office environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with scheduling systems or intake documentation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone and social media channels
  • Complete client intake forms to accurately collect and validate information
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for legal staff
  • Perform initial qualification of clients for legal services
  • Support basic social media posting and client engagement efforts
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal legal counsel
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
