About The Position

Under the direction of the Customer Support Manager, the CSS will assist the Account Managers and Sales Team in providing outstanding service to our customers. This position is responsible for administrative support, order entry and responding to customer inquiries. It is also a liaison between Tri-Mack and its customers, building relationships with customers around the globe, and requires the ability to effectively communicate externally and internally across all functional areas.

Requirements

  • Customer Service and/or Sales experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is required
  • Established computer skills with advanced Excel required, including macros, pivot tables, analyzing data and generating reports
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks while paying close attention to the details and specifics of each task
  • Reliable, accountable and able to learn quickly, work with a minimum amount of supervision
  • Team player
  • Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree in related Business/Marketing is preferred
  • Familiarity with composites and plastics, manufacturing and the aerospace industry is a plus
  • INFOR Visual Manufacturing experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in all areas of order processing for new and existing customers.
  • Enter customer orders, including forwarding all of the required materials to the appropriate staff members for review
  • Support and communicate effectively with existing and prospective customers via phone, e-mail, website and meetings
  • Support sales accounts, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customer contacts, including on-site meetings
  • Use advanced data analysis via Excel and Visual Manufacturing in support of Sales Team projects
  • Prepare follow-up reports, sales summary reports, forecast and other reports as needed
  • Control drawing revisions, maintain log
  • Support and participate in production, sales and other meetings
  • Work on special Sales Department projects as needed
  • Maintain all Sales Department files
  • Conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner and demonstrate Tri-Mack Values: Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability and Durability
  • Adhere to all ISO and AS9100 requirements as specified in work instructions and by your supervisor
  • Show up on time, work your scheduled hours, get along with co-workers and support others as needed
  • All other duties and special projects as assigned
