About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to join our Customer Service team as a Customer Support 1 representative. In this role, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of Streck — ensuring that our customers receive prompt, professional, and accurate support throughout their experience with us. You will play a key role in processing orders, maintaining accounts, and collaborating across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic keyboarding (40 wpm).
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • A positive, professional attitude and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain new and existing customer accounts, including creating drop-ship accounts when needed.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently via email, EDI, CRM, or phone — and file them correctly.
  • Navigate internal systems including our CRM, Shipping Portals, Streck.com, and SharePoint.
  • Monitor inventory levels using internal resources.
  • Perform functions associated with order placement including processing credit card payments, reprinting invoices, etc.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
  • Handle returns, replacements, credits, and other account transactions and generate associated paperwork.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams on shipping guidelines and special instructions.
  • Support Sales, Distribution, Accounting, Technical Service, and Product Management teams as needed.
  • Learn and assist with international and partner account paperwork as you grow in the role.
