About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Customer Support Representative in Charlotte, NC. The role involves handling B2B customer support requests, facilitating quotes for special orders, answering product-related questions, order entry, processing returns and credits, and providing sales support to internal teams and branches. The work environment is typical for an office setting, with regular use of hands and arms for reaching, and occasional standing and walking. Physical demands include sitting, handling objects, and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus. The company also follows CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel, E-mail
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Responsibilities

  • Field incoming B2B customer support requests via phone and Salesforce workflow
  • Facilitate quotes for non-stock special orders, delivery & set-up orders, and large volume orders
  • Answer product related questions and provide information from manufacturers
  • Order entry
  • Facilitate returns and follow up on credits
  • Fulfill customer requests for proof of delivery or invoice/credit copies
  • Provide sales support to Jan/San field and IAM teams
  • Provide information to SPR branches regarding various programs and their service requirements
