We're seeking exceptional Customer Success Specialists who are passionate about educational technology and driving student outcomes. As a CSS, you'll partner with assigned institutions (K12 Schools and Districts and GEAR UP programs) to deploy, implement, and support our On-Demand and High-Dosage Tutoring solutions powered by Tutor.com. You'll be the primary point of contact for smaller accounts while collaborating with a lead Customer Success Manager to support our key partnerships. In this role, you'll build proactive, strategic relationships with partner institutions, ensure successful solution adoption, and deliver the service excellence that drives student engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3+ years of education-related work experience
  • Willingness to travel frequently during the school year to visit client sites; occasional travel for conferences and company on-site meetings
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ownership mentality - you advocate for customers and drive solutions
  • Excellent communication: clear writing, compelling presentations, and confident verbal skills
  • Creative, collaborative problem-solver who learns quickly and identifies proactive solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet services
  • Independent thinker with energy, positivity, and strong teamwork capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Lives in Southeast states (AL, NC, SC, TN, AR, GA/Atlanta Metro) near a major airport. Other states in the Eastern U.S. considered.
  • Has experience working with educational technology solutions.
  • Has worked in education.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with primary program contacts and key stakeholders (school administrators, teachers, program coordinators) in coordination with CS and Instructional colleagues
  • Consult with institutional partners on best practices to drive awareness, participation, and student success
  • Advocate for customer needs and foster retention and growth using sound Customer Success principles.
  • Analyze client usage reports to identify trends, assess account health, and track performance metrics
  • Develop and deliver customized reports demonstrating program value, outcomes, and impact
  • Support key partnerships with day-to-day reporting, proactive and reactive outreach, and administrative support
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct on-site visits, deliver in-person presentations, and facilitate client training on administrative tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as Training, and Product, to ensure program delivery meets client specifications
  • Provide timely, knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries
