About The Position

Hypertec is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our Hypertec Construction team in Montreal, Quebec. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development or account management, strong communication skills, and bilingualism (French/English). Regular business travel to the United States is an essential component of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management, ideally within Data Center ecosystem, Construction, Infrastructure, or related technical industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully closing new business with strategic accounts.
  • Strong ability to understand client needs, construction project lifecycles, and technical specifications.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and autonomous approach to business development.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and commercial proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales reporting tools.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is mandatory.
  • Regular and consistent business travel, mainly to the United States, is required.
  • Candidate must satisfy applicable criteria for business travel to the United States, including eligibility for the Visa Waiver Program or other visa exemptions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders within strategic and target accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Develop tailored value propositions and solutions that align client objectives with Hypertec Construction’s capabilities and service offerings.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic and developing accounts, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships, increase customer value, and drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across the construction, infrastructure, and related technical sectors.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and market intelligence.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signature, ensuring a seamless client onboarding experience.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and whitespace in the Data Center construction sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, project management) to develop compelling proposals and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Represent Hypertec Construction at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, deal progression, market insights, and revenue forecasts to leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual commercial strategy and go-to-market plans for Hypertec Construction.
