About The Position

101domain is looking for a Customer Success Engineer to serve as the trusted technical advisor for their mid-market and enterprise clients. This role involves managing technical relationships, leading onboarding and implementation projects, providing advanced technical support, and identifying optimization and expansion opportunities. The Customer Success Engineer will also translate client feedback into actionable input for engineering and product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a client-facing technical role (solutions engineering, customer success, or advanced support) within cloud, hosting, or internet infrastructure
  • Deep expertise in DNS (including DNSSEC), email authentication (DMARC, SPF, DKIM), and web security stacks (WAF, CDN, DDoS, ZTNA)
  • Solid Linux/CLI proficiency and scripting ability (Python, Bash)
  • Strong project management skills and comfort managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementations
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and executives

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise clients using Cloudflare Enterprise, Google Workspace, VPS/Dedicated hosting, DMARC/email security, and attack surface monitoring.
  • Lead onboarding and implementation projects.
  • Provide advanced technical support across DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, and Zero Trust.
  • Proactively identify optimization and expansion opportunities.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable input for engineering and product teams.
