About The Position

This role is the first step in a structured path from Customer Success into sales. It begins with owning customer success responsibilities and gaining deep product knowledge, followed by handling inbound sales, and eventually progressing to an Account Executive role within approximately 12 to 18 months, based on demonstrated performance. The role is designed for individuals aspiring to a sales career who are willing to earn it by first mastering the product and the customer. Progression is determined by results, not by time served.

Requirements

  • Desire for a career in sales, viewing product and customer mastery as a foundational element.
  • Competitive and self-motivated, with a focus on achieving outcomes.
  • Coachability, with the ability to quickly receive and act on feedback.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with technical products, with the ability to learn and explain hardware and software simply.
  • Experience using AI tools as a standard part of workflow without compromising judgment.
  • Resilience in the face of repetition and rejection, maintaining high standards during a long ramp-up period.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, support, or sales role, or a demonstrated record of the aforementioned traits.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as an SDR, inside sales representative, in other sales roles, or as a Business Analyst.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • General IT familiarity, including devices, displays, and basic networking.
  • Experience with SaaS, AV, or digital signage.
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to European or Asian markets.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new customers and ensure they are proficient with the OptiSigns platform.
  • Develop expertise in the product, including the software, supported displays and devices, and common deployment setups.
  • Address product and technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and effectively resolve or escalate them.
  • Promote adoption and retention within assigned customer accounts.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from potential customers and existing clients.
  • Collect customer and product feedback to inform the product and sales teams.
