Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in customer strategy, sales analytics, or related fields, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of consumer sales, channels, and Canadian retailers.
  • Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, both with and without direct authority, to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Strong leadership presence recognized by customers, team members, and internal partners, with a track record of driving collaboration and growth.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of resolving complex issues and securing consensus while focusing on long-term objectives.

  • Proven expertise in leveraging advanced analytical tools (e.g., NIQ, Numerator and Tableau) to transform raw data into strategic insights.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex datasets into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data-driven customer segmentation models and comprehensive sales strategy reports to uncover growth opportunities and align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops and collaborate across teams to translate complex customer and sales insights into actionable business strategies that drive measurable impact.
  • Develop predictive analytics frameworks and conduct in-depth analysis of sales margin, market share, and trends to anticipate customer needs and provide actionable insights for business growth.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and other teams to craft innovative customer journey maps and integrate customer insights into cohesive sales strategies that enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and execution across the organization.
  • Spearhead the integration of emerging technologies and data sources to continuously refine customer and sales strategies, competitive positioning, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads by leveraging data analytics and direct feedback from field sales teams to optimize sales solutions.
  • Summarize and present complex analytical findings to sales teams and senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Proactively recommend strategic initiatives based on detailed data analysis to influence management and stimulate discussions aimed at improving sales outcomes.
