About The Position

Bluestaq is launching Prostaq, our managed delivery offering for the Unified Data Library (UDL). As organizations increasingly need secure, scalable data platforms but lack the expertise or capacity to manage them, Prostaq provides end-to-end installation, management, and sustainment services. We're seeking a Customer Solutions Manager to build and lead the Prostaq Delivery Team from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new business line, establish delivery standards, and own customer relationships for one of our most strategic offerings. You'll be the face of Prostaq, bridging technical delivery teams and customers, ensuring exceptional outcomes from first install through ongoing operations. Requirements

  • 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (solutions architecture, professional services, technical account management, or program delivery)
  • 3+ years leading technical delivery teams in fast-paced, customer-critical environments
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), with hands-on experience deploying and managing production systems
  • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices: infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across customer organizations, from engineers to executives
  • Track record of building teams and processes from early stage to scale
  • Strong business acumen: budget management, resource planning, contract performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, can translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD/IC customers and government contracting environments
  • Background in managed services or SaaS operations at scale
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (RMF, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, IL4/IL5/IL6)
  • Experience deploying systems in classified environments and working with Cross Domain Solutions
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or equivalent cloud credentials
  • Previous experience at AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, or leading cloud-native services companies
  • Technical background with ability to dig into code, infrastructure, or architecture when needed

Responsibilities

  • Own Customer Success & Relationships: Serve as primary point of contact for Prostaq customers from contract signature through ongoing O&M. Build trusted advisor relationships with customer leadership, technical teams, and program offices. Understand customer mission objectives and translate them into delivery plans. Proactively identify customer needs, risks, and expansion opportunities. Conduct regular business reviews demonstrating value delivered and operational health. Success is measured by delivered value and customer impact, not by tasks completed or hours logged. Build with customers and stakeholders, not just for them; long-term relationships matter more than short-term wins.
  • Lead Delivery Operations: Build and lead a high-performing delivery team. Drive decisions with clear communication and defined ownership; velocity comes from trust and feedback, not endless meetings. Oversee UDL installations. Manage ongoing O&M engagements. Define and continuously improve installation playbooks, runbooks, and operational procedures. Balance team capacity across multiple concurrent installations and O&M engagements. Recruit, develop, and retain delivery talent. Clear the path for high-agency teams to do their best work; enable, don't micromanage.
  • Bridge Product & Delivery: Partner with Product Team on customer requirements, bug prioritization, and feature requests. Coordinate deployment of product updates to managed customer environments. Provide customer feedback to inform product roadmap decisions. Ensure seamless handoffs from Product (what we build) to Delivery (how we deploy and sustain it). Ship incrementally, gather feedback, and adapt; perfect plans matter less than continuous progress.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Own delivery metrics: install cycle time, system uptime, incident response times, customer satisfaction. Implement automation to reduce manual operational toil. Build scalable processes that work across classified and unclassified environments. Ensure compliance with customer security requirements and government regulations. Surface risks early, communicate status transparently, and solve problems before they become blockers.
  • Enable Growth: Support sales team in pre-sales activities: scoping, technical discovery, solution design. Develop pricing models and staffing estimates for new Prostaq opportunities. Create customer success stories, case studies, and reference accounts. Represent Prostaq externally at customer sites, conferences, and industry events.
