About The Position

As part of our recent growth, we are seeking a Customer Service professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to external customers, working with shop employees, supervisors, and managers to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of customer concerns. Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English through verbal communication, American Sign Language, or adaptive technology
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or admitted as a refugee or asylee).

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of Aerospace Manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience working in a team environment and have a comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing aerospace industry.
  • Experience using an ERP system (Visual strongly preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret Aerospace blue print documents.
  • Knowledge or experience working in an inclusive work environment, particularly those persons with disabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers by phone or in person.
  • Solicits sales of new or additional services.
  • First person contact for customers’ questions concerning billing or service rendered. Refers complaints or concerns to designated departments for investigation.
  • Reviews incoming P.O.S to assure pricing is correct for ecology, expedite, and per part price.
  • Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
  • Read and understand individual component drawings and complex assembly drawings.
  • Follow continuous improvement to ensure highest quality, lowest costs, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintains an efficient and high-quality work performance.
  • Assists and trains others as needed.
