About The Position
Community Automotive Repair, a locally owned and operated automotive repair shop founded in 1975, is seeking to add a Customer Service Specialist to their team of highly trained professionals. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized service flow and ensuring customers are well-informed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, positive, and customer-focused, contributing to the shop's growth and success.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and office equipment
- Typing speed of 50 WPM minimum
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities
- Manage calls and messages, schedule work accurately, and ensure smooth drop-off and pick-up processes.
- Answer multi-line phones, greet customers, and respond to online inquiries.
- Book appointments and communicate next steps clearly.
- Assist service advisors and cover for them during vacation or sick time.
- Support shop needs, including special projects and helping manage the parking lot layout.
- Float to other facilities on an as-needed basis (transportation provided).
