This position is responsible for serving the Call Center by working with the department staff, taxpayers, businesses and local governments on the telephone, in person, and through email utilizing interpersonal and customer service skills. You will provide responses in Spanish or English to inquiries on the various tax types and tax laws affecting: Individual Income Tax; Withholding Income Tax; Sales and Use Tax; Business Income Tax and training on GenTax and MyTax Illinois software. If you have completed the Revenue Tax Specialist Trainee program and either four years of college or have the equivalent experience and you are fluent in Spanish and English, are self-motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy receiving the appreciation of others for the service you provide, then we want you!
