About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, balancing time between indoor and outdoor tasks. Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, making suggestions, and selling packing and moving supplies. The manager will also conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent. Financial duties include auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits. Additionally, the manager is responsible for customer payment management, including reminder and collection calls.

Requirements

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
Valid driver’s license
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business

Responsibilities

Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
