OPEN INTERVIEWS - FLEX Customer Service Security Officer
About The Position
Securitas is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as FLEX Customer Service Security Officers. We are holding in-person hiring events every Wednesday. This role involves maintaining composure in high-pressure situations, conflict resolution, securing premises, conducting patrols, interacting with clients and guests, identifying safety issues, protecting evidence, and providing direction. We are looking for individuals with a passion for helping people who can learn the rest. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- 1+ years security experience.
- 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Nice To Haves
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Secure entrances / exits.
- Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
