About The Position

Benson’s Pet Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer experiences. The role involves engaging with customers, recommending products and services, and helping ensure a positive shopping experience. Associates work with the team to provide top-notch service, support store goals, and uphold the company’s standards for honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Starting pay is $17 per hour. After 30 days, associates have the opportunity to earn an additional $2 per hour for punctuality and perfect attendance. A perfect attendance bonus is also offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Passion for pets and a desire to provide top-notch customer service.
Availability to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt assistance.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle returns.
Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled.

Assist with inventory management and stock control.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
