About The Position

Arjobex America, Inc. is a world leader in the production and sale of synthetic paper under the brand name of Polyart®. This highly specialized paper is based on biaxially oriented, high-density polyethylene with a print receptive coating. The resulting paper-like product has excellent printability and high durability. Its uses include self-adhesive labels, in-mold labels, tags, maps and technical manuals. Arjobex has worldwide sales and operates manufacturing sites and R&D centers in Europe and North America. This position is primarily responsible for analyzing, editing, interpreting, and processing service customer inquiries, orders, correspondence, faxes, and telephone calls varying in nature and scope relative to order status such as delivery dates, order changes, product application, complaints, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with three (3) to five (5) years related experience in related position or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and formulas.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Basic knowledge keyboard.

Responsibilities

  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Handle phone/fax orders and inquiries from customers and communicate expectations to production.
  • Assist with completion and distribution of sales quotes.
  • Call on existing customers who haven’t placed recent orders.
  • Prospect and build a sales pipeline for the outside Sales Managers via outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing methods.
  • Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating face-to-face appointments with outside sales team.
  • Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, producing regular activity reports as requested.
  • Assist with and monitor shipments of samples/printed material.
  • Coordinate and distribute daily reporting tools to management.
  • Act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales. Be cognizant of each marketing initiative, and work toward corporate objectives.
  • Assist with makeup and organization of department files and material.
  • Complete requested tasks from Sales staff acting on behalf of management.
  • Perform any other duties as delegated by management.
