About The Position

Benson’s Pet Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Sales Associate to provide excellent service and create positive shopping experiences. The role involves engaging with customers, recommending products, responding to inquiries, and supporting day-to-day store operations. Associates work with the team to meet sales targets and store goals while upholding the company’s standards for honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. The starting wage is $17 per hour. After 30 days, associates have the opportunity to earn an additional $2 per hour for punctuality and perfect attendance. A perfect attendance bonus is also offered. The schedule varies and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Passion for pets and a desire to provide top-notch customer service.
Availability to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt assistance.

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle returns.
Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled.
