About The Position

At SIXT, the Customer Service Return Agent is responsible for customer engagement and vehicle management. This role involves greeting customers, inspecting rental vehicles, completing return transactions, promoting SIXT products and services, and identifying vehicles for maintenance. The agent will work in various weather conditions and support business needs as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ideally a background in sales, service, or hospitality
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts
  • Willing to wear a company uniform

Nice To Haves

  • Speaking other languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers upon arrival, delivering a friendly and professional return experience.
  • Inspect rental vehicles for damage, fuel levels, and mileage, discreetly handling findings and directing issues to the appropriate channels.
  • Complete return transactions accurately and advise customers on final rental charges.
  • Promote additional SIXT products and services where applicable.
  • Identify and tag vehicles for maintenance and ensure they are moved to the correct location.
  • Work in various weather conditions and take on additional tasks to support business needs.
