About The Position

McAdams Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Marshall, TX, is looking for a pro-active and driven Customer Service Representative to join the team! The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience
Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
Must pass pre-employment screening and background check

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred)
Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
Forwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
Performs other related duties as assigned
