Emergency Dispatch Operator (EDO) Promotional opportunities are available after 90 days. The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $16, depending on experience. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply and will receive additional compensation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: · You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service. · Make outgoing calls to verify alarms and signals, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties. · Document alarm handling procedures and complete alarm processing as per standard operating procedures. You will carry out your responsibilities by: Participating in a comprehensive five-week interactive training program designed to prepare you for the role and introduce you to exciting opportunities. During this training, you will develop the skills necessary to succeed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to type between 20 – 25 wpm
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrate punctuality
  • Uphold strong work ethics
  • Maintain the necessary licensing as part of the job requirements.
