Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing)
About The Position
Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a manufacturing customer in Buffalo, NY are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers and Business Development Managers throughout the order lifecycle. In this role, you will manage customer inquiries, quotations, order entry, engineering changes, complaint resolution, and new customer onboarding while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, is comfortable working within an ERP system, and enjoys building strong customer relationships while supporting operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or Associate degree with equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of customer service experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience reading technical drawings or blueprints.
- Technical sales experience.
