Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Ability to manage multiple systems, browsers, and tools simultaneously
  • Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, navigation between programs)
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
  • A self-starter mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service while handling premium billing tasks independently
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with billing questions, payments, and account support
  • Analyze, research, and resolve billing issues with accuracy and efficiency
  • Educate members on billing processes and online payment tools
  • Make outbound calls regarding delinquent accounts and payment follow-ups
  • Ensure issues are resolved on the first call, or provide timely follow-up when additional research is needed
  • Navigate multiple systems confidently to locate and update account information
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of member information at all times
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies
  • Support members through eligibility checks and reinstatement review processes
  • Consistently meet performance expectations for response time, call handling, and availability
