About The Position

Propel is a fintech company focused on providing credit access to consumers underserved by traditional financial institutions. Their AI-driven platform offers a more comprehensive evaluation than traditional credit scores. The company has facilitated over one million loans and lines of credit, totaling over one billion dollars. Propel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with online loan applications and the funds transfer process. This role reports to the Manager, Operations and is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or call center experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills: able to build rapport with clients and handle escalated calls
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
  • Able to prioritize workload, handle high call volumes while maintaining a professional and personable approach
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment

  • Spanish language skills

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls for multiple portfolios
  • Use multiple web-based applications for investigation and verification
  • Answer existing and potential customer questions with accuracy and urgency
  • Communication of appropriate course of action to clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Build customer confidence in the services offered by Propel as a subject matter expert
  • Work as a team to obtain individual and team goals
