About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support a high-volume, fast-paced business unit. This role is responsible for coordinating activities to deliver exceptional sales support, order management, and customer service. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for conversion based on performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related preferred)
1–2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field (retail/restaurant experience considered)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP or Salesforce is a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

Manage customer purchase orders from entry through invoicing
Handle customer requests, inquiries, complaints, and forecasting entries
Analyze inventory levels and customer demand across the distribution network
Collaborate with customers to gather forecast data and maintain accurate systems (SAP)
Partner closely with Sales, Demand Planning, and Logistics teams to support customer needs
Maintain and update customer records and reporting
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Coordinate with third-party warehouses and monitor shipments for accuracy and timeliness
Communicate shipment updates, delays, and delivery status to customers
Provide backup support to team members as needed
Perform in a high-volume, email-driven environment (limited phone interaction)
