About The Position

Roto-Rooter, founded in 1935, is North America's largest provider of plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services. With operations in over 100 company-owned branches, independent contractor territories, and approximately 400 independent franchise operations, Roto-Rooter serves about 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada. This full-time customer service position is located at Roto-Rooter’s Phoenix area Call Center in Tempe, AZ. The role involves being the first point of contact for customers, gathering essential information with empathy and confidence, and scheduling service calls. Requirements

Strong customer service focus
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills are a plus!
AS400 knowledge is preferred
Prior call center experience is helpful

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact with our customers.
Obtain key information from the customer while expressing empathy, a sense of urgency and confidence that they called the right company and we will solve their plumbing problems.
Data entry, including customer contact information and relevant details concerning their plumbing problems.
Schedule a service call based on customer’s availability and convenience.
Discuss additional services and products we have available that may be helpful.
Be a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
