About The Position

Martin Environmental Services is looking for a goal-oriented, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to provide support to our customers. This role involves receiving incoming calls and messages, assisting customers from beginning to solution, and serving as a customer advocate by solving problems and engaging appropriate departments. The representative will utilize authorized systems to gather and update customer records, and maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Computer skills-Navigation, MS office, Typing, Multi-Screen system
  • Professional and polite phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Ability to react well under pressure.
  • Focuses on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly and appropriately to meet company standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of prior work experience handling customer service via telephone.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and training.
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing, and computer use
  • Ability to multitask
  • Occasional walking, bending, and reaching

Responsibilities

  • Utilize authorized system to gather information, provide information, and update customer records.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co-workers, and management.
