About The Position

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for a Customer Service Representative 1/2 or Sr at our Greystone location in Columbia, SC. This role involves performing advanced level, very complex transactions, including nominations processing through confirmation and scheduling, while following rules and requirements. The position requires reconciling imbalances and pooling points, providing information timely for reconciliation, and working with customers and less experienced employees to explain company policies, practices, tariff provisions, and transportation procedures. It also involves assisting in customer problem resolution, monitoring customer activities for compliance with tariff provisions, and maintaining documentation of gas receipt and transportation activity. The role includes participating in specialty projects requiring advanced business and/or system knowledge, managing and providing volumetric information for analysis, and serving as an interface between pipelines and other employees. A key aspect is developing and maintaining relationships with assigned key account customers, acting as the single point of contact for multiple customers, and providing advanced information on company policies, practices, and tariff provisions. Additionally, the role involves providing individualized training on transportation storage procedures and software usage, monitoring customer activities to help them utilize contractual commitments effectively, and working with other business areas to resolve issues impacting a wider array of users. Collaboration with IT Business Analysts to align business needs with technology solutions, providing proactive customer support, analyzing work to eliminate errors and avoid risks, and documenting processes and procedures are also essential. Training internal employees and external customers, and assisting with tasks during system stress are expected. Responsibilities

  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
  • Performs activities to reconcile, review, and monitor the activities required, ensuring the company's obligation to transport natural gas in the pipeline.
