Classic Packaging Company is a producer of food packaging located in Pfafftown, NC just north of Winston-Salem. We specialize in making high quality flexible packaging solutions for a variety of industries nationwide. As a Customer Service Representative you will represent Classic Packaging Company and act as critical liaison between the customer and internal teams(sales, production, planning, quality, shipping) As CSR you will receive and process new and repeat customer orders, inquiries, and/or customer issues related to orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of customer service ideally in manufacturing, packaging or a related industry.
  • Ability to respond effectively to stressful situations and changing priorities while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical requirements and manufacturing data.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, proprietary computer system)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based organization.
  • Willingness and ability to learn about various aspects of packaging manufacturing.
  • Ability to learn new skills and apply them across a range of applications.
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage purchase orders from coordinator and writes up new orders.
  • Coordinate with production and scheduling team to expedite rush orders or resolve capacity conflicts.
  • Track orders through production and communicate lead times, delays, schedule changes proactively to customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping discrepancies, or order errors, coordinating with QA and Logistics as needed.
  • Place film orders.
  • Confirm accuracy of film orders and double check work of others for errors.
  • Process credits, returns, or reorders in line with company policy and quality claim procedures.
  • Support Account Manager/Sales team with quoting, order entry and account maintenance.
  • Communicate raw material lead times and pricing changes as needed.
  • Ensure all paperwork and computer entries are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Advise supervisor of any needs or suggestions.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
