About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) is seeking a Customer Service Representative; Receptionist to join their Rogersville Clinic. The mission of OCH is to provide exceptional healthcare and preventive services in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and improve access to care. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, this role provides direct and indirect patient assistance and care in the office/clinic settings. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and orientation of new office/clinic staff, coordinating office/clinic activities, covering work schedules, improving work flow, and keeping providers informed of progress and potential problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payors.
• Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position.
• Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment.
• Great organizational and multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

• BLS or Friends and Family certification preferred.
