About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as an important resource for healthcare providers and insurance partners by maintaining accurate Other Health Insurance (OHI) information within internal systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum six months of call center experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience performing research and verification tasks
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple computer applications
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and clients
  • Research and verify Other Health Insurance (OHI) information for both medical and pharmacy coverage
  • Update insurance records using carrier websites and internal applications
  • Process referrals and update information received through inventory work queues
  • Perform accurate data entry while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve insurance information issues
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately
  • Meet established call center performance, quality, and accuracy metrics
  • Deliver professional, courteous customer service on every interaction
