About The Position

Diamond Line Delivery is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their terminal operations team. As the first point of contact for many customers, this role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and professional shipping experience. The position supports terminal operations by handling customer inquiries, tracing requests, and setting up pickups and delivery appointments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Strong interpersonal skills with a clear and friendly communication style.
Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
Comfort with scanning/imaging software.
Attention to detail, especially in data entry and shipment paperwork handling.
Team-oriented with a service-first mindset and a proactive attitude.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in customer service, ideally in the LTL, freight, or logistics industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the front-line representative for local terminal customers by phone, email, and in-person.
Handle a high volume of inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Accurately enter shipment orders and update customer records in the system.
Schedule pickups and deliveries and assist with appointment management.
Communicate proactively with customers about shipment status, delays, or exceptions.
Escalate unresolved issues or service delays to the Customer Service Manager.
