Seasonal Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Seasonal hiring! No experience necessary! Do you enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and helping people have a positive experience throughout their day? If you’re adaptable, service-minded, and take pride in supporting customers at different moments of their journey, join the Avis Budget Group team at our airport locations during our peak season. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same—and where your flexibility and customer service skills make a real impact. This is a seasonal position supporting our peak season from May 20 through September 18, 2026. A seasonal role is a great way to get started at Avis Budget Group and may lead to future opportunities beyond the peak season.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
- Effective verbal communication skills
- A customer-first mindset and willingness to help others
- Willingness to work outdoors and stay active
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- Must be able to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
Nice To Haves
- 6 months retail or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Assist customers throughout different parts of the rental and return process on our airport lots.
- Check vehicles.
- Enter information into a handheld device.
- Process rentals for loyalty customers.
- Assist customers at exit gates.
- Check vehicles in at return.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for every customer.
