About The Position
Our Douglasville office is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a Temp-to-Hire position. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional, timely, and accurate assistance. The position involves handling inbound calls, processing orders, coordinating shipments, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or distribution office setting and possess strong attention to detail. This is a fully in-office position with opportunities for internal growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience from a manufacturing or distribution office setting
- Strong phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn company systems
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Accurately enter and process customer orders
- Schedule shipments and coordinate delivery timelines
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently
- Assist customers with product inquiries, shipping questions, and pricing corrections
- Investigate and correct order, shipping, or billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
