About The Position

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience(s) by handling complex inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and providing guidance to customers. They ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of service, troubleshooting concerns, and communicating effectively across departments. Additionally, they assist in process improvements, contribute to training initiatives, and support the overall success of the customer service team. This position will be remote with occasional visits to the Distribution Centre as required. Distribution Centre is located in Ingersoll, ON. This is a salary position with wages ranging from $48,000-$52,000, based on experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with a wide variety of individuals and personalities
  • Passionate about customer service
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment is required
  • Exceptional phone etiquette
  • Strong computer skills; including ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot with little guidance
  • Organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and accurately process orders and requests in a timely manner.
  • Enter orders into operating system(s); pick orders at the shipping receiving dock to ensure a timely schedule and delivery.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism, troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Resolving customer complaints, managing database records, drafting status reports on customer service issues.
  • Communicate with customers on order statuses (especially delayed orders) and provide requested information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process outgoing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments. Enter pickup requests online to respective LTL carriers. Process required documents and provided copies to the shipper/receivers for scheduled pickup.
  • Process/receive incoming supplier shipments. Receive shipments into operating system(s) and check the accuracy of the quantity and pricing of the product receipted. Advise any discrepancies.
  • Dispute any supplier discrepancies online where applicable and follow up to ensure proper credit is received.
  • Communicate with Management any product that is missing customer pricing to ensure proper and consistent pricing levels are established.
