The Customer Service Representative is a key member of the customer service team. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective order processing, sales service, customer satisfaction and information feedback to external and internal customers. The ideal candidate will be available to work an assigned shift, specifically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Following the successful completion of a 10-week onsite training program at our Mebane, NC facility, this position will transition to a hybrid customer service schedule. The hybrid model requires in-office presence two days per week, with Wednesdays as a mandatory onsite day.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience in a customer service environment.
  • Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in SAP with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes.
  • Can work independently and multi-task in faced paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability.

Responsibilities

  • Processes orders and invoices correctly and in timely manner.
  • Handles customer complaints, provides appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follows up to ensure resolution.
  • Assists Lead Customer Service Representative and provides recommendations for process improvements.
  • Operates as the liaison between internal and external expectations.
  • Able to identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Promotes products and services to customers and responds to technical questions.
  • Develops on-going positive relationships with customers.
