About The Position

This role involves conducting appropriate transactions by answering customer questions, cross-selling products and services, and by providing excellent customer service. The primary function is to process a variety of customer transactions, handle and resolve customer concerns, and ensure customers receive excellent service with accurate information and efficient transaction processing. The role also includes scanning and balancing daily work, building rapport with customers, promoting bank products and services, assisting with safe deposit boxes, processing night drop and mail transactions, servicing bank ATMs, and promoting teamwork and a positive bank image.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, and divide.
  • Communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to operate office equipment as necessary to complete essential duties listed above.

Nice To Haves

  • Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process a variety of customer transactions including: deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, safe deposit boxes, cashier's checks, and loan payments.
  • Handle and resolve customer concerns to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that customers receive excellent customer service by providing accurate information and processing all transactions as efficiently as possible.
  • Scan and balance daily work in a timely manner and by properly following operation policies and procedures, this may involve problem solving for error resolution.
  • Build rapport with customers and promote bank products and services as appropriate.
  • Assist customers with accessing their safe deposit boxes.
  • Process various night drop and mail transactions.
  • Service bank ATM as needed.
  • Work with other employees to promote teamwork and good communication.
  • Promote a bank positive bank image in the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.
