About The Position

Finning is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their Rental Operations team in either Regina or Saskatoon. This role is ideal for someone with customer service, administrative, rental, equipment, or inside sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with both customers and internal teams. The position involves providing exceptional service, supporting rental and sales processes, and assisting with administrative and operational tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, rentals, inside sales, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial, heavy equipment, or a similar industry is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of purchase order processing and contract administration is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Support customers with rental inquiries, equipment availability, and service requests.
  • Ensure all customer interactions reflect Finning's commitment to outstanding service.
  • Build positive relationships with customers while identifying solutions that meet their needs.
  • Prepare rental and sales agreements accurately and efficiently.
  • Process equipment returns and complete rental close-out documentation.
  • Support the rental process from inquiry through completion.
  • Assist customers with product and equipment questions.
  • Promote Finning rental products and services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to rentals, sales, and equipment transactions.
  • Process purchase orders and support purchasing activities as required.
  • Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Use internal systems to track equipment, customer information, and transactions.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the branch and rental team.
  • Assist with equipment preparation and coordination as required.
  • Help ensure rental equipment is ready for customer use and returned equipment is properly processed.
