Customer Service Representative
About The Position
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be found on the daily schedule. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating motorized cleaning equipment, maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, and complying with safety rules and procedures. The position requires performing work assignments in a team, handling repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, following all protocols, and taking direction from supervision. Additionally, the role involves communicating professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers, filling in during staff shortages, supporting shift leads, using proper personal protective equipment, presenting a professional appearance, understanding customer service and satisfaction, and understanding reporting systems and the environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual a plus
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred
- A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
- Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
- May be required to be forklift certified.
