Customer Service Representative
About The Position
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be found on the daily schedule. This role involves performing janitorial duties, operating motorized cleaning equipment, maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, and complying with safety rules and procedures. The position requires teamwork, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, maintain a clean work area, follow all protocols, and take direction from supervision. Professional communication with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers is essential. The role may involve filling in during staff shortages, supporting shift leads, using proper personal protective equipment, and presenting a professional appearance. Understanding customer service and satisfaction is key. The ability to drive to various work locations may be necessary, and understanding reporting systems and the environment is also important.
Requirements
- No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
- Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
- Completed all safety and task training certification.
- May be required to be forklift certified.
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
- The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
