About The Position

Cleveland Petroleum, a Meritum Energy Holdings company in Cleveland, OK, is looking for a seasonal, part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team during our busy winter heating season! This position runs from October 2026, through mid-March 2027, with hours not to exceed 30 per week. The Seasonal Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. Our Customer Service team is committed to Service, Efficiency, and Safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn and use new software
Must pass pre-employment screening and background check

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred)
Experience in the petroleum or propane industry (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Service-oriented with the ability to resolve customer concerns

Responsibilities

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
Supports the team during peak winter demand by handling increased call, order, and delivery request volume
Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards it to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
Performs other related duties as assigned
