About The Position

At Boston School of Music Arts (BSMA), we are seeking Customer Experience Representatives to be the first point of contact for families via in-person, phone, email, and text. This role involves managing contacts, scheduling, providing information about BSMA programs and events, registering students, welcoming students, maintaining the presentation of the space, and communicating with families to ensure a positive experience. Responsibilities also include assisting with details at major performance events and potentially performing other administrative duties and projects as assigned. BSMA has been recognized for providing excellent music education and positive family experiences for over 15 years, fostering a supportive and positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • At least 2 years' experience in customer-facing roles (restaurant front of house, hospitality, or retail).
  • Competent with Google office products, Email, digital calendar management, and CRM software.
  • Must be fluent/competent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Very organized.
  • Available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to walk and stand, as well as bend and climb stairs throughout shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed, on occasion.

Nice To Haves

  • Canva experience.
  • Competency/Fluency with Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese.
  • No college degree required.
  • No previous music school admin experience required.

Responsibilities
