About The Position

Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations. We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in Salem, Oregon. This position provides high‑quality customer service by responding to inquiries about fish and wildlife licenses, regulations, and agency services. The role supports license agents and customers through email, phone, and in‑person assistance, explains ODFW rules and statutory requirements, and troubleshoots issues with the Electronic License System (ELS). The position also monitors and reports system concerns to appropriate staff while supporting a variety of agency activities. NOTE: Due to the nature of this position, regular and consistent attendance is essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in customer service.
  • One year of which must have included explanation of rules, regulations, and policies and responsibility for dealing with unique or unusual situations.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is essential for this role.
