About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is focused on providing product/service information, processing orders, resolving issues, and reports to the Customer Service Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who has an attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency) strong work ethic/reliability and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Customer Service Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year previous customer service experience in customer facing role
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in construction or manufacturing industry in any setting
  • Strong organizational and listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Coordinate and prioritize work with deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to read and communicate requirements in fractions
  • Excellent ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings, blueprints and specifications
  • Up to 10% of role involves working in a manufacturing floor environment

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with AS400, SAP

Responsibilities

  • Maintain broad knowledge of products and services of the organization
  • Document customer interactions and transactions
  • Data entry of faxed, emailed, and phoned in orders for production
  • Coordinate between sales and production to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain good communication channels with product and support staff
  • Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time.
  • Coordinate and resolve product or service problems
  • Participate in educational opportunities internally and externally to enhance knowledge of product and job skills
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by management
