Customer Service Representative (Order Entry)

HindlePowerEaston, PA
Onsite

About The Position

HindlePower has been designing and manufacturing industrial (non-commercial) battery chargers and dc power systems for the utility industry for over 35 years. Our staff and products serve the power generation and distribution market, switchgear OEMs, power substations, the oil and gas industry, and various transportation maintenance facilities. We are the leaders in our industry and have customers in all 50 states plus additional countries worldwide. This is not a call center. Our customers are utilities, distributors, and equipment builders buying engineered dc power systems, and many of them we have worked with for years. You will get to know them, and they will get to know you. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to answer those customers and get their orders into our system accurately and quickly. Order entry is the front door to everything we build, so the work you do here sets the pace for the whole floor.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in customer service, order entry, scheduling, or data entry, or a two year associate degree

  • Comfort in a fast paced environment where priorities shift during the day

  • Enter sales orders into our ERP system accurately the first time
  • Keep customer records and order documentation clean and current
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to get the answers a customer needs
  • Look for ways to make order entry faster and more consistent
