About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for coordination of all activities necessary to provide sales, service and distribution support to our customers. The CSR is the direct interface with customers and responsible for addressing customer needs and coordinating problem solving in concert with Sales and cross-functional partners. The CSR works in partnership with the field sales representatives, manages all aspects of the order to cash process and forms working relationships within supply chain, the business and manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required – (Business, Supply Chain, International Business, Sales, Marketing preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required
  • Excellent computer skills including strong proficiency in Excel and Word; SAP and Sales Force experience desired
  • Must be self-motivated, extremely organized, able to multi-task in a dynamic business environment and work well with others
  • Individual must have the ability to contribute independently and within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant customer service, sales, supply chain or manufacturing experience is valued but not required
  • Relevant product knowledge is valued but not required
  • Coursework completed in chemistry, engineering, mathematics, information technology, operations or supply chain management, advanced degree, and APICS certifications considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer purchase orders, including order entry to invoicing, customer requests, inquiries, complaints and enter forecasts
  • Analysis of inventory and customer demand
  • Partner with Sales in support of customer needs
  • Manage customer records with customer and internal partners
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration
  • Back up colleagues as needed
  • Travel on an infrequent basis in support of sales efforts
