About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service as part of a supportive team. The role helps customers with U-Haul products and services, manages equipment rentals and returns using smartphone-based technology, and inspects and maintains equipment. The position offers on-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

The role is located at 1600 SE Griffin Dr, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712. Work involves moderate risks or discomforts, such as working around moving machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals, and may require protective gear. Physical activity includes remaining stationary for extended periods, moving indoors and outdoors, reaching at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Ability to perform the physical demands and work in the environment described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane; U-Haul certification is offered after employment.
• Drive a forklift; U-Haul certification is offered after employment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
